Workshop
Futurescape! Find opportunities through design fiction
James Deakin
Hosted by NDDN
Experience design fiction in action. Create a potential future and design solutions within it.
Designers are being tasked with tackling increasingly complex problems. We are often trapped designing for todays problems. Design fiction can help but it's not always clear how to apply it in the real world.
Together we can avoid this trap. You will use our practical approach to create a new and unique potential future. You will then use that future to reframe a wicked problem. You will then create novel solutions and a space to discuss alternate ways of being.
You will learn to:
1. Create a credible future
2. Ideate within that future
3. Take on wicked problems
Workshop tickets are sold separately from other conference events.
