The Slow Food Experience
Sat 8 Feb in Pollenzo and Turin
Turin’s creative energy comes to life at the University of Gastronomic Sciences. Journey across Piedmont for a taste of the region’s food and wine, stopping in Turin to discover its interaction design happenings.
Please note that this tour is outside of the official Interaction Week 2020 program. The tour is organized and hosted by Circolo del Design. Tickets cost 40 EUR per person; a ticket includes all transport services, meals, and eno-gastronomic experiences.
Program
- 10 am Departure from Milan (Central Station)
- 12 am Arrival in Pollenzo
- 12 am - 1 pm Visit to the Banca del vino (Wine bank) and wine tasting
- 1 - 3 pm Lunch at University of Food and Wine Sciences
- 3 -4 pm Transfer to Turin
- 4 - 5.30 pm Presentation of six design studios in Turin at the Circolo del Design (together with the other tour)
- 6 pm Aperitif and visit at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (together with the other tour)
- 10 pm Return to Milan (Central Station)

Carlo Ratti Associati
An international design and innovation office based in Torino, Carlo Ratti Associati also has branches in the UK and US. Drawing on Carlo Ratti’s research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Senseable City Lab, the office is currently involved in many projects across the globe, ranging from interiors to urban planning.
TODO
An independent practice established in 2007, TODO consists of a diverse, multidisciplinary team. They’ve built a great international network of design and communication professionals. The studio works to envision, design, and bring their clients’ special projects to life - whether they be brands, spaces, interactive experiences, products, or beyond.
